- Dolly has over 15 years work experience in the areas of project management, client facing, staff performance appraisal, training, monitoring and evaluation, and, analysis and report writing.
- She has over nine years of moderating experience both in market and social research, she also has trained many moderators.
- She worked as a freelance consultant for several years in the areas of providing technical research assistance to several NGOs both local and international on regarding situation analysis, assessment and evaluation activities.
- She has considerable experience in community based development projects including anti human trafficking, rehabilitation and income generation projects with an international NGO.
- Dolly’s key strength lies in her deep knowledge of the local market and the Myanmar cultures within which she has lived & worked.
Ramon V. Calleja Jr.

- Ramon has over 15 years of experience in market and social research and is considered an authority in both quantitative and qualitative research method.
- Prior to joining MGRI, he was Regional Director for Research at Riverorchid Insight covering Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar directing both market and social research projects, from 2011 to 2015.
- His 9 solid years of social research experience with Social Weather Stations as Survey Research Specialist in the Philippines, before joining Riverorchid Insight gave him the chance to work on projects with The European Union, The Asia Foundation, The World Bank, USAID, AusAID, and JAICA among other INGOs.
- He is a Statistician by discipline. He took up Bachelor in Applied Statistics at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Manila.
- Ramon has lived and worked in Indochina for over three and a half years, of which he has spent almost two years in Myanmar where he currently lives, This has made Ramon knowledgeable of the local business and societal context.
Myat Thu Soe

- Myat Thu has over 10 years market, social and development research project experience in Myanmar.
- He has excellent skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, data quality assurance, and research design, systems and tools development.
- He is able to collect information using hands-on approach, manage and develop information systems and analyze data for various stakeholders.
- He has experience in developing interviewing strategies particularly for hidden targets such as mystery clients, drug users and sex workers.
- He has consistently recruited and trained interviewers, quality control staff and field supervisors on research methodologies including proper interviewing, questionnaire implementation and facilitating skills.
- He has several years of working experience at World Vision Myanmar in the areas of Design, Monitoring and Evaluation, Disaster Risk Reduction and recovery projects.
- He has extensive knowledge of Myanmar culture and geography, and has conducted research in numerous townships in Myanmar.
- He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics.
Mya Myo Aye

- Myo Gyi has over 10 years market research experience in Myanmar enhancing her skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Myo Gyi worked with Riverorchid Insight as Field Coordinator for almost 3 years from 2013 to 2015.
- She worked with TNS performing various data processing functions from 2012 to 2013. Prior to TNS, she has been a freelance researcher on various media research in the country.
- She has good data processing skills, including encoding, validation and cleaning.
- Has extensive experience in field management, coordination and field data collection plan implementation.
- Has good knowledge in programming surveys on tablets for CAPI projects.
- She can moderate MGIs FGDs and IDIs.
- Has conducted numerous project specific field staff training on various market research projects, and,
- Loves to travel to rural areas as wall as have gone to most major cities and townships across the country.
- She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and has pursued this discipline up to completion of her Master’s degree in the same field in 2004.

- Yan Naing has over 8 years market and social research experience in Myanmar
- His strength lies in field coordination, especially dealling with government authorities.
- He has extensive experience in field management, coordination and field data collection plan implementation.
- He has performed various field and data collection functions namely: field interviewer, supervisor, quality control upervisor and recruiter for qual projects among others.
- Loves to travel to rural areas as wall as have reach major cities and townships across the country.
- He had his journalism stinta s Assistant Reporter with Independent Journal in 2012 trough 2013.
- Prior to that, he worked for various field functions with Compass Reasearch from 2003 to 2008.
Our Field Staff
- MGRI Currently has a pool of over 40 part-time field staff.
- While most of them are based in Yangon, a significant number are based in other major cities for strategic and cost effcient deployment
- All of them are capable of conducting data collection both via the classic PAPI and the advanced CAPI methods.
- The field force comprise a good proportion of Quality and Field Supervisors, Recruiters and Interviewers
